In 2022, Soap carving returned again. We had it on Friday, October 21st and Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 and many learned how to make soap carvings. Alvin Woody demonstrated and assisted carvers on how to make their own renditions from soap.
Also, the Catawba Valley Wood Carvers provided an opportunity to power carve a Black Bellied Plover using the Foredom flex shaft power carver. All materials and instruction were provided by CVWC club members.
